We contacted HP Flanagan, Inc. on the recommendation of good friends and selected them after obtaining multiple bids on our project, a kitchen renovation that included adding French doors (replacing a window) to our backyard. Harry was easy to work with from our first meeting, and his bid was extremely competitive. After meeting with multiple contractors, we selected Harry because we had confidence that he would get us the kitchen we wanted, and because he seemed to understand the vision we had for the space, taking into account the flow and décor for the rest of the house. It impressed us that he was the only contractor who asked to see the rest of our house, because he wanted to get a sense for the architecture of the other rooms and our decorating style. HP Flanagan was able to deliver that vision on the timeline they promised. Our family and friends all laughed when we said that Harry told us we'd be out of the kitchen only for 3 weeks, and he did it -- even despite blizzard-related delays that crippled the east coast for a couple of days! We love the end result. Harry was communicative throughout the project, answered all of our (sometimes very detailed) questions, and addressed any small concern we raised promptly and satisfactorily. To the extent that there were any unforeseen challenges along the way -- turns out the kitchen ceiling in our 50-year-old house isn't level -- he and his staff worked hard to figure it out and find a solution that worked. We ended the project with the exact kitchen we envisioned and have received many compliments on the result. Harry was always respectful of our budget, and we felt that the final amount we spent was reasonable in light of his original estimate and a few things we added along the way. All in all, we recommend HP Flanagan highly and hope to work with them again in the future. We feel very fortunate to have had such a large project go so smoothly!

From start to finish, Harry and his team turned our dreams into a reality. They were all very hands on. They made the whole house building process less stressful and fun. Working directly with Harry made the experience feel more personal and we were able to be involved from day one to the very end. Working with a smaller builder was a rather pleasant experience. We appreciated all the hard work and more importantly the finished product......our home!

HP Flanagan was great from start to start to finish. They took the time to answer all questions and walk us through every step of our project. Having your home renovated while living in it is never easy but HP Flanagan was great and took good care of us throughout the project. They turned my hardly used space into a beautiful open floor plan kitchen with family room. We love it and use it all the time. We couldn't be happier with HP Flanagan's work and our new space.

We hired HPF to demolish our current residential structure and rebuild a substantially larger new home per previously secured architectural plans. HPF was awesome from stage one to completion. HPF executed a project in about a year that we had difficulty starting due mostly to red tape and township requirements. HPF worked with tact and professionalism to meet what seemed to be changing township requirements. HPF offered a unique combination of the actual build and was also able to provide consulting around the interior design and selections throughout the course of the build. HPF finished the project with minimal variance to budget, excluding any township additional requirements. Overall, HPF was patient and considerate alleviating stress on us throughout the build, but still executed with a beautiful final product. We intend to bring them back for additional project work outside the initial scope of the rebuilding project. Our only regret was that we did not have them involved during the planning/architectural phases, as their ability to provide guidance around critical decisions was second to none.

HP Flanagan built our dream home and it exceeded our high expectations! I did due diligence on a dozen custom home builders before deciding to hire HP Flanagan. At the end of the day, it was an easy decision because (1) they were straightforward and came to the table with really good ides, (2) their references were excellent, (3) they understood our wants/needs, (4) we liked them personally; they are genuinely good people. Working with them was an absolute pleasure. Harry and Stacey were honest, hard-working, knowledgeable and never shirked responsibility for any issues. And most importantly, above all else, we trusted them. They were very hands-on throughout the entire project from blueprint to breaking ground to settlement. And they were very responsive as well, always delivering an answer to any questions or concerns we had in a timely and comprehensive manner. I would strongly recommend HP Flanagan. You will be hard pressed to find a builder as trustworthy, reliable and honest as them. Not to mention that the quality of their work is top-notch. We couldn't be happier with our new home!

Harry and Stacey worked with us on finishing our basement (including the addition of a powder room) and we could not be more pleased with the result. They are great communicators who kept us well-informed throughout the different phases of the project and who were extremely responsive when we had questions or needed their assistance. They were respectful of our budget, while at the same time coming up with creative and unique ideas (within our budget) that we had not considered. The end result is a space that blends in well with the rest of the house and feels like a well-considered space rather than a dingy afterthought. We look forward to working with Harry and Stacey again in the future!

Harry and Stacey did a tremendous job on a redesign of the first floor of our house, working through very challenging conditions. They gutted our entire first floor, giving our kitchen a new look, bumping out and opening up our family/office to give a wide open feel and turned our living room into our new study. They also redid all of the floors in our house. The patiently worked with my wife and I on our design, the timeline, and permits while our entire family (5 people) were living in the house. It was frustrating at times because of the conditions, but they have been great and we have asked them back several times to help with additional projects. They have bent over backwards to make sure that we are happy with the results and that their work is of high quality. We would definitely recommend them to family and friends.
