I had hired EKDS to renovate and refurbish my 3 bedroom apartment at Prithviraj Road. I live in Ranchi and wanted this apartment to be designed as a comfortable 2nd home for me and my family. I wanted a modern, luxurious aesthetic and had a certain budget in mind. After a couple of initial meetings where design details were discussed and finalised, Ekta and her team took over. They handed over the apartment to me in record time, and nailed the budget. I couldn't be happier! I wish her the very best and hope she continues with her fabulous work on several such projects.

Ekta undoubtedly excels at her job - professional, talented and transparent at the same time; with a sharp eye for detail. I have had the pleasure of working with Ekta Khanna on the remodeling of my home. She is an absolutely thorough professional, the rare species which is hard-to-find nowadays. An architect and decorator should be someone with an eye for detail and, to me, that is non-negotiable. With Ekta and her team, I had peace and fairly early on was convinced that she would think of everything that was necessary. We had several meetings before starting and discussed the look I wanted, the changes that were essential and more so keeping in mind our requirements. Remodeling is different from doing something from scratch and not easy task, particularly when you live in the same premises. My work is such that I was able to leave for extended periods so her team had free access and operated with utmost care and very professionally. When the price of any vendor was high, she always told me and was mindful of the spend. I was not around to supervise every step but that was not necessary. I have immense trust in her ability and, to me, her biggest strength lies in being able to do a deep dive, to paint the big picture while looking at every small piece and, most importantly, doing it with calmness. In this line, it is so easy to lose cool, but her calm, polite and firm nature is a sure recipe for success! Last, but not the least, whenever I wanted to do something fast she would convince me that my approach would lead to a “rushed” outcome and not aesthetically the right result, she would prevail upon me in her gentle manner. So, apart from her professional capabilities, implicit trust in her skills was key and I give her full credit in ensuring that trust was built very early on. Ekta is someone who really walks the talk and that has been invaluable for me. I wish her all success always!

We have had the pleasure of working with Ekta in designing and furnishing our bareshell house in Sobha International City, Gurugram. She spent quality time with us understanding our (often confusing) requirements and came up with multiple options suiting our tastes. Blending tradition with modernity , she helped us home onto right service providers to include soft and hard furnishings, carpentry, painting and decoupage, drapery, electricals and so on and supervised their work delivery right till the very end. Always a call away, she came up with wonderful cost effective options at every stage of converting the house into a delectable 'home', it is today.
