I recently used Double D for a large project. I had an extension completed along with replacing all my windows, siding and added a new kitchen. My house came out amazing and was completed on time.

We've used Doug for all our projects, my mother's and my son's projects too! When we were looking for a new home, Doug was the first person we called - he came with us to see the house before we closed and gave us ideas on how to update. As soon as we closed, he and his team started that very next week. We love the kitchen and bathroom remodel and are so grateful for all the extra touches they did to make sure we were totally happy before they left the site. Thank you Doug!!!

I would not recommend Double D to build a dog house! Talk about non-professional work!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! NOT HAPPY!!!

Yes it has been a few years since I had all my windows replaced, however I was wary about leaving a review however I am now as it was such a shoddy job, I want people to know what my experience was. Doug is a nice guy, I totally agree, it was his workers that failed him, what ever dispute they had going on was taken out on the work done on my home. Some of the works just stood around drinking coffee not working, there was NO insulation put in my windows and even though I called them back, the job still was not completed properly as they just did not want to put a ladder up and examine the job done. There are such bad drafts in my windows I wish I had never set a contract with this company, they failed to deliver, I am v v disappointed as my hard earned money has gone to waste, be aware of the workmanship with this company, no words to express my feelings. I gave the opportunity to fix and it was not

We had a full kitchen gut remodelling done by Double D in November 2016 to April 2017. They were truly excellent, and we were extremely pleased with the results. Our house is a small stucco 1930 English Tudor, the existing kitchen was small, awkward, and very poorly organized, built partly under the stairs to the second floor. Two people could not work in that space without getting in each others way, and large windows that looked out on our driveway left minimal space for wall cabinets. Over the years we had various contractors in, but none of the plans they offered seemed worth the cost, for $50,000 we would still have a small awkward but more modern kitchen. When Double D came, they told us what we needed was a kitchen designer, and they put us in touch with one, Ellen Lopez, who worked very hard on our project. Ellen eventually came up with a brilliant plan that reorganized the walls, creating a much better space. Double D arranged everything else, (village rules required architect's drawings since we were altering one load bearing internal wall), and carried out the plan beautifully. Our kitchen is now a pleasure to work in, and has changed the entire ambience of our first floor. When our grandchildren first saw it on FaceTime, they thought we had a new house. All of the craftsmen from Double D were excellent. Of course there were some unexpected problems that were found once the walls were opened up, and some problems with scheduling subcontractors but the office manager Andrea was very helpful and always came up with ways to keep the process moving along. All in all this was an excellent job, and I would recommend them without hesitation. Andrea also made sure the job was finished (just) in time for our big family seder, our son brought along a friend who was a professional cook who told us HE would be happy to have our kitchen. And so are we, it is a pleasure to use every day.

DD contractors did my walkway and my portico to the front of my house. They did it on time and under budget. Frank managed the whole project from start to finish and was readily available to talk over the phone and by email. I have a bathroom and a extension that I am currently working on with them. It was Smooth Sailing from the very start working with Doug and his team at Double D Contracting. We explained our desires to transform our outside deck into an all year-round sunroom and Double D made it happen. Their estimates were clear and concise so there were no surprises. During the project things change so the communication between the staff on site is very important. Double D offered new ideas that we had not thought of before and their assistance with design was greatly appreciated. Reliability is also so important. The Team was on site when expected, always cleaned up after themselves and were appreciative for the little things we did for them even if it was something as small as a cup of coffee in the morning. The permits needed with the Town where handled professionally and with ease. We did nothing but explain our dream and they brought all the different trades together to make it happen. double d expanded my deck and built a cradle for a hot tub as well as installedthe hot tub.the deck was on stilts so a significant amount of support was necessary.

The Crew arrived on time ready to work as scheduled during the building process. Calls to Doug about any questions were answered right away. The job sight was cleaned at the end of every day and the job was completed on time and on budget. Our addition is now the favorite part of our home.

Double D renovated a bedroom and bathroom for me. They were able to help me to work within my budget, and deliver an amazing transformation. The entire team showed up on time, from initial meeting to daily construction. The results are amazing.

I'd give 10 stars if I could. They took on a fairly large job for me, with many moving pieces. It was such a pleasure working with this company. The workers were efficient, polite and cleaned up after themselves daily. I was given regular status updates. They even helped me sort through some of the insurance paperwork (headaches). I have recommended them, and will continue to recommend them to anyone who needs a reliable, honest contractor.
