About Us
Dot Courson is a native Mississippian and an award-winning American artist and Signature Member and former board member of the Women Painter’s of the Southeast (WPSE). She holds memberships in the Oil Painter’s of America (OPA), the American Impressionist’s Society (AIS) and the Portrait Society of America. She primarily paints the southern landscape in oils. featured in several art books and magazines: Plein Air Magazine , The American Art Collector Magazine, and has been featured in several art books and served as a contributing artist in Creative Freedom – a book by Maggie Price and published by North Light Books. She teaches workshops and is a principal at Courson Art Products where she and her husband run an art atelier art for over 10 years.
Her works and paintings are in private and corporate fine art collections worldwide.
