Moreover, Don Gottfeld is a true artist. My spouse and I purchased a house that Don designed, and we feel as if we live in a work of art. What’s more, our modern masterpiece with its expert design makes our house a home with its light and warmth. I have seen a number of his projects in various phases and then the amazing final product. He is currently helping my wife and I with our dream kitchen. We bought a new home designed and built by Don Gottfeld 6 years ago and couldn't be happier with his work. His design is both beautiful and functional and makes the absolute most of the unique features of the property. For example, his placement of skylights and windows made the most of the natural light and brings an indoor/outdoor feel to the entire house. He did not cut any corners on workmanship or materials and was highly responsive to all of our questions and needs. After 6 years, we have no problems with the house and would hire Don again for any other project.

I have had the pleasure of spending time in several projects by Gottfeld Architects, both new construction and one extensive remodel in Brentwood. The spaces have been light and airy with good eye lines and visual flow from room to room and good connection of the interior to the outdoor spaces. The projects have ranged from traditional to contemporary and have used top-of-the-line appointments throughout, especially in the kitchens and bathrooms. The overall feeling of Don's projects is one of a clean modern flow and details that would be a joy to live in.

Gottfeld Architects is an excellent design firm. Don is a graduate of Cal Poly. That means that he started his career with a combination of design excellence and practicality. I have worked with Don in several capacities over more than 25 years. He has designed many retail buildings as well as tenant improvements. He even designed a magnificent remodel and significant enlargement of my personal residence. I trust Don to do a great job whenever he takes something on. He is sensitive to the owner's design wishes and pocketbook. He is good at designing within a budget. I can recommend Gottfeld Architects to anyone looking for the absolute best in design and construction management!
