Ayaz Basrai and Zameer Basrai set up The Busride, an independent design studio specialising in the design and creation of built environments. Currently dabbling in various projects from Hospitality projects like Bars, Clubs and Restaurants, to Installation Art, from Institutional Architecture to Heritage conservation around his home in Bandra, to working on Illustration and 3D printing projects, The Busride prides itself in being a team of architects, interior and industrial designers, who look for solutions from the macro to the micro, from the slightly mad to the totally insane.The studio’s work is guided more by chaos than by order, and this reflects in it’s wide and varied undertakings. From working on high visibility commercial venues balanced with critical writing and theory initiatives, the Studio’s work is a wide swinging pendulum.
