We heard about Mario and his services from a family relative. What she mentioned is Mario and his team will assist with designing suggestions. Well, they did much more than that! We had our entire kitchen redone and my gosh does it look amazing. People come into our home and freak out on the changes. Our entertainment center was done as well, and my son wants to hang out at our house now. "Mom, want to watch a movie together?" What? He is 24 and lives about 30 miles away. (That says a lot) I would get an idea, ask Mario, Christian or Erin and they would come up with the perfect solution. This speaks volumes. People said Laurie "I didn't know you were such a designer"? My response is "either did I". Next steps are ahead. I couldn't be more pleased with my new home improvements. Fantastic collaboration! Mario and group are amazing. They helped us at two houses this year. One to live for 6 months comfortably, and the house was left from renters in horrible shape but they made it beautiful for us to move in on time. Our home that we moved back to was done better than i could have imaged. Floors, walls, ceiling, rock work, fireplace (WOW!) and decorative wood under counter ALL were so pretty. They made it so easy to make decisions, helped to make ideas better than you think. PP will do it all and more if you want it to live in an amazing house, they are the people to call.

Mario, Christian and their team are amazing to work with - they treat our home as if it were their own. They delivery impeccable taste, high quality workmanship, and are always responsive. We have engaged them to finish a new deck and paint our house (2015), touch up painting and deck a few years later, and they even responded promptly to our need for an emergency door repair this year. We wouldn't call anyone else.

Could not have had a more exceptional 2nd remodel with Mario & his team. This was a tricky small, condo bathroom remodel. Within our budget they were able to deliver us the best - patterned tile, custom vanity, floating shelves, all with decidedly upscale materials. Mario's crew is well honed and we were thankful they were available for our little project.

Mario and Chris have done several projects for us at Ebell Long Beach, a 1924 historic women’s club turned wedding venue. With each project, they have been honest, professional and personable. Mario has an eye for color and design. He is very inspiring and makes you feel at ease discussing ideas. Chris excels at logistics and execution. Always ensuring projects are done properly and with ease. When working to reimagine the venue during our grand re-opening they were able to re-paint the majority of the venue, if not all, in a short period and it looked stunning! They also re-designed a very old, very sad area of the building that had not been loved in 50 years. They brought it back to life turning it into 4 beautiful offices and a completely redesigned bathroom by managing the painting, electrical, tile, plumbing, etc. I’m sure i’m missing more! We relied on them heavily for all our projects. We will continue to use them and you should too!

I’m so happy with the work performed by Architectural Fine Finishes! Mario has a great eye for choosing the perfect colors and Chris is very efficient and great with the fine details required for precision woodworking. The results give me a brand new perspective on how I see my home. They transformed it from a cookie cutter contractor build to a custom home. AFF did an amazing job on a kitchen re-mod in my condo. Not only did they extinguish the *ugly* and make it beautiful, they also 'cleaned up' the space, making it both more roomy and space-positive. Additionally, they tied it thematically with the rest of the space. The space is eclectic, so it took a clever bit of design to make it work, but AFF thought outside of the boring box and brought the project home. Additionally, they welcomed my input. Mario was introduced to us by our realtor who had high recommendations from other clients who have used his services. We met prior to our move into a condominium to discuss remodeling our new home. We learned that remodeling is a unclear swerving road when it comes to removing walls, light fixtures, floors, cabinets and attachments such as doors. Both Mario and Chris kept us informed of all the discoveries and recommendations necessary to stay in budget and still preserve the look we wanted. We wanted to go to a modern design. Mario and his team do top quality work. They are very professional, friendly and thorough. We hired Mario to paint the exterior of our house. He provided us a reasonably priced quote, consulted with us on our colors, and delivered on all the details that were outlined in our contract. The prep work by his team was impeccable. Mario and his crew at Architecural Fine Finishes are simply amazing. I have used them on our own personal home as well as rehabs on several rental properties. They have amazing ideas to incorporate into your home that just gives it this ‘Wow’ factor. While still keeping your budget in mind. Things I’d never have thought of. The colors they have chosen for our interiors and exteriors have made our furnishing and landscaping pop. They suggested paneling for two awkward, plain walls that have now become a focal point. Architectural Fine Finishes did a tremendous job of coming to the rescue and getting our midcentury historical restoration back on track after having to terminate an absent designer/project manager whose subs were quite literally destroying our home as they were being paid to put it together. Mario, Chris, and their crew came in and began the painstaking process of removing poor work that included water intrusion, and during the course of our work together they transformed our home into what we had always hoped it would be. Mario and his son Christian are the very best. They remodeled my garage and did an amazing job. Gave me so many great ideas and did over and above everything I wanted. Wonderful trustworthy people. They definitely made my garage “My Happy Place”.

We hired Mario to do a paint remodel for us. We explained what we wanted and the look we were going for, he not only exitcuted it with the highest level of professionalism but he also became a friend. We would hire him again in a heartbeat. We hired Mario and his team at AFF to update our master bathroom which was still composed of builder grade materials since the home was built in 2001. We couldn't be happier with his vision and ideas for the project! The materials they chose and we agreed upon were very high quality and beautifully matched. He and his team took the bathroom down to the studs and floorboards and redesigned the room to have more useable space, a much larger glass-enclosed shower with multiple shower heads, and a beautiful tub and fixtures. His team was very courteous and worked around our schedule so as not to intrude too much on our day to day living. They cleaned up after every day and made sure we were satisfied at each step of the process. We are very picky and tough customers and they were patient and caring in everything they did. We are extremely happy with Mario and his team at AFF and will have them back to do our guest bath next. We highly recommend AFF!

I would highly recommend AFF for your next project. I had AFF ugrade what was essentially a typical tract home into virtually a custom home. AFF renovated all the bathrooms with new granite counter-tops, ceramic tile, lighting, and custom cabinetry. The spa-like Master Bath walk-in shower has multiple shower heads and feels like I'm at a 5 star resort. They installed wood moldings and window casing around all the windows to give them a custom feel and installed crown molding throughout the house. The Kitchen was upgraded with granite counter-tops and high end stainless steel appliance in which they helped me select to fit my budget. To top it all off, they selected a soothing paint color palette throughout the house that makes staying home on weekends a joy. Chris and Mario are easy and enjoyable to work with, and they have great ideas and advise for your next project.

I hired Architectural Fine Finishes to remodel my townhouse in Long Beach. It was a complete redo, the 1977 look was erased and became a beautiful home with charm and character. I enjoyed down time admiring the quality and workmanship.

100% absolutely recommended. After a brief consultation of the work needed, I scheduled a time/date for the job. Chris showed up on time and was very professional. He went over the project once more, explained his action plan and soon began. In my hallway, there was wall and paint damage from new furniture being moved to the back of the house (caused by delivery). Chris was able to repair these dents/scratches in the wall and repaint it beautifully like new. I will definitely hire Architectural Fine Finishes for some of my home projects in the near future.

Mario was understanding when there were financial restraints or even strong personal opinions and worked diligently to "make it work". He was very hands-on the project and always available to us. We trusted his judgement, and he was nothing but respectful in every aspect of our remodel. There was never any miscommunication about the job or the cost. Mario was very clear with everything he presented for our approval. Their ethics were above reproach and the work nothing less than outstanding. They brought the job home on time, as promised, and within the approved budget and we couldn't be happier with the results.

Awesome work from these total pros. Super picky and detail focused, these are the guys (and girls) you want if you demand perfection in all stages of work from design to painting, to carpentry and tile. We are professional house flippers in Los Angeles and have use AFF for several projects. All the homes were vintage and they are great at knowing when to restore existing architecture and when to create from scratch I recommend them without reservation.

Well. I bought what amounted to The While Elephant of condos......a sad mess of a place with a tired and outdated interior. Architectural Fine Finishes turned that pachyderm into a warm, lovely home with Venetian plaster in the the living room and entry-way, a custom built fireplace, custom cabinets and a reading nook in the master bedroom. I should also mention the beautiful drop ceiling in the kitchen, the crown molding, and the renovated lighting in the entry hall and the cool 'stipple' effect on the ceilings throughout. I have known Mario and his Son, Christian, for 20 years. They have done beautiful and professional jobs for me during the years. Mario and Christian took a dull, plain 1978 townhome and transformed it into a beautiful Italian-style home. It is gorgeous! The walls in every room are textured, faux beams were added, recessed lighting, and a combination of tile and hardwood floors. The renovation was done prior to us obtaining the home, but we contacted them as soon as we purchased the property to add a few things, paint, and tile the patio. Mario's design aesthetic is spot on! Both Mario and Christian pay attention to the most minute detail...and it shows. We could not have asked for a more professional job. Neat, tidy, within our budget, and on time! Every single person who we have recommended them to has phoned us to say how thankful they are!
