Wildflower Meadow Project TWO

Project TWO - Wildflower Turf. Image taken in June 2015. This year has seen a mass of Ox Eye Daisies along our verges and also seen in wildflower turf. Year to year some species will dominate, this can be managed by a light cut in May, resulting in less of the dominant species and reduced height of flowers. All wildflower meadows need to be cut down to the ground in the autumn and all waste material removed.
