Tranquil Escapes

This area of the site was heavily wooded with scrub growth. All removals were completed by hand to protect the root systems of the historic Oaks. The soil was amended, and the end of the lawn was marked with bold sweeps of perennials. The preservation of mature trees, along with the density and variety of plants, attracts a wide variety of birds all season long.
