The Sponge

The traditional terrace house has been opened up with a rear and side extension, with large skylights to bring light into the interior. The kitchen dinner has a a long convex joinery walls, stained oak, that model the space, creating a bespoke and unified look to the storage. The wooden 'box' encloses the stairs to the basement, acting as a perforated screen between the front sitting room and the open plan kitchen and dining area at the rear.
