The Perfect Cozy Suburban Kitchen

Cabinets were in good shape, so we decided to re-paint the cabinets. Thanks to our finishing specialists, the painted cabinetry does not look painted, but looks like new cabinets with a rich, durable finish. Custom crown molding were added to get rid of the space above the cabinetry, giving the illusion of a larger, more grander room. Dark granite countertops & island gives off a beautiful contrast to the bright kitchen. The sides of the cabinets were finished off with simplistic moldings to make them look more substantial, giving them a furniture-like appearance. We demolished the drywall on the island and added corbels for visual effects. The island is slightly distressed for a comfier ambiance. Overall, the homeowners were able to achieve their dream kitchen and more with less than $10,000 by recycling existing cabinetry!
