The drapery and paint design on the wall are examples of vertical lines in the space because they draw the human eye up the wall and create an illusion of a higher ceiling.

Upstairs/Office area - could be a fun sitting area near the library! Love the dramatic paint and prints, but would choose different colors.. something more classic/traditional.
