Sixties-style Home Modernization

Challenge: Dark, outdated home with narrow halls, low ceilings, closed spaces and lots of paneling! Transformation: Relocated back door and removed wall between kitchen and family room to create a beautiful, bright open living area perfect for family meals and entertaining. To expand the cramped hall space, we widened the hallways, added a sliding track door and removed the low soffit.
