March 31 at 10:12am Bj Latas I think the 'raw' look of the floor begs for more rustic accouterments. I'm a fan of white, too; however, I wonder if it might be overdone sometimes. I still like Sarah, though! March 31 at 11:57am Janice Brown I find the tile backsplash distracting and too modern for the rest of the kitchen. It's really out of place. And those yellow corbels are too large. I'd have preferred the floor be stained a medium tone - would have been more fitting, and not looked so newly refinished. I love all the light fixtures though. Would have loved a shot of the sitting ... See More area. They didn't show shopping for it and showed it so quickly at the end. I think there is nothing more classic country looking than painted cabinets, especially white or cream. The cabinets are actually quite close to mine. Nice to see what it looks like with the extra cabinets on the top as well. I was thinking of doing that eventually in my kitchen.
