An Indonesian species of wood, Kayu Kuku is mostly straight-grained, and has a uniformly dark colour, that adds sophistication and elegance. It's a heavy, hard, and dense wood that makes it similar to teak, but unlike teak, Kayu Kuku can be bonded. It is also very durable and resistant to termites.
