This suburban home presented with a challenge- how to get Northern light into Southern side of the house? The answer is the tall sail ship roof which features clerestory windows into the bedroom areas allowing light without heat in the height of Summer. You can see on the North side of the house there are sliding glass doors from the kitchen that enter onto a courtyard.
