Ensuring the spaces connected well with each other was paramount yet ensuring each space was defined was just as important. The use of the dropped ceiling helped to define the kitchen yet keeping it white kept it subtle. The use of similar style textures and colours against the white backdrop ensured the areas connected on a large visual scale yet the furnishing of each kept the definition.
