Perennial Flowers

Liatris, also known as Gay Feather or Blazing Star, is a plant with wonderful texture! Butterflies are drawn in droves to its spiky flowers and they become a beautiful part of the display. They come in compact varieties, like these 'Kobolds'. Others can get very tall and are best staked or planted against a structure that will give them some support. All of them are quite narrow and they work very well in mass plantings.
