Oakland County Project

The pool and lower patio had to be artfully set within the extreme slope by which both were made more dramatic. The slope allowed for the creation of a magnificent negative edge pool and waterfall that spills down to the walking path. Along this meandering path numerous vistas and viewpoints were created by intricately constructing large limestone walls and terraces. The lower exposed aggregate patio is the perfect place to spend a beautiful Michigan evening by the fire looking over the lake and listening to the quite rush of the pool’s falling water.
