NYC- Chelsea Apartment

Working in NYC is always a pleasure, and this apartment in Chelsea was especially fun! My client is an art historian and collector, travels extensively and wanted to reflect a modern, comfortable and well travelled style in her second home. We paired organic materials like petrified wood, natural stone, wood burl and cowhide with clean lines, warm prints and textures, modern art and lighting along with a few ethnic touches to create an inviting, warm and creative space that reflects my clients varied cultural and anthropologic interests. We did all of the major furnishings during one very busy weekend and then finished up with accessories, art, paint and window coverings on another couple of weekends!
