This 9'4"x8'3" bathroom is in a 60 year old concrete and brick condominium building in Baltimore city. The remodel presented unique challenges as all interior walls were solid concrete block, and the drain lines could not be relocated. The entire bathroom was gutted using a handheld "chipping hammer" to remove all tile off the concrete walls, a process that took over 7 days. The cast iron tub was replaced with a custom shower. This condo never allowed for washers & dryers, so we converted the hall closet into a laundry closet. The vanity wall was then divided into 2 sections by constructing a knee-wall with a basic vanity sink base on the right and a "laundry tub" on the left.
