Nine Point Something

Taking cues from the red rock hogbacks of this valley, we regraded & resurfaced the drive with red gravel. In so doing, we created the optical illusion of lushness in the high desert- green and red being complements on the color wheel, the red drive made the landscape pop. In using red rock, we also tied this landscape to the existing environment, making the property feel expansive. Photo, Gigi
