New England Oceanside Master Suite

This formal bedroom and master bathroom suite was decorated to enhance the gorgeous ocean views outside. All soft furnishings were custom made. The pillows in this photo were hand made by the designer, Linda Merrill. The drapery treatment allowed for the block-out lined drapes to be pulled closed without covering up the open window when the client wished to hear the ocean and smell the breezes, but could be fully closed to block out all sunlight. The valance treatment was designed to mimic the waves crashing on the beach and the panels featured a horizontal tiny strie pattern in blues and greens which mimicked the water.
