Opening up the living room created space for a custom-made 6½-foot-long (2-metre-long) linear kitchen unit that extends to the ceiling.The cabinet doors have no hardware, to create a lightweight feel. The bottom cabinets are birch, while the the top ones are in pale-grey lacquered MDF. The countertop is made of Solid Surface.

Cuisine de 2 mètres ne comporte pas de lave-vaisselle mais dispose d’un combiné micro-ondes, d’une plaque à induction, d’un petit réfrigérateur et de nombreux espaces de rangement. L’éclairage a été pensé avec soin, comme dans tout le reste de l’appartement. « La cuisine est éclairée par trois plafonniers modernes et un bandeau LED éclaire l’ensemble du plan de travail, en plus de l’éclairage de la hotte »
