London Victorian Townhouse

One wall was wallpaper with a rich pattern of peacocks from Cole and Son. The rest of the walls and woodwork were painted in Farrow and Ball downpipe to create a dark and dramatic effect. We stripped and stained the floor, putting a flokati rug in front of the fireplace to add texture and warmth. We kept the fitted wardrobes but painted them and replaced the handles with mismatched ceramic ones. Simple blinds were put in the windows so as not to lose the unusual shape.
