Kitchen revealed

Many older homes were built with the notion that kitchens (and cooks!) should be tucked away, unseen. Fortunately, that thinking has gone by the wayside and homeowners are now 'opening up' their homes and expanding their lifestyle options. These homeowners wanted to remove the visual barrier between their kitchen and living areas. The challenge was to eliminate the wall while retaining essential load bearing support. Our team created a design incorporating beams and columns with style as well as purpose. The kitchen now looks as though it was always meant to be this way. Terry Poe Photography
