Kitchen Renovation

This project was in a typical 1976 house in Trent Woods, NC. The kitchen had never been renovated and the cabinetry was worn. The house was sectioned off into small rooms with the kitchen separated from the living space. We removed the wall between the kitchen and living room opening up the space. We covered the popcorn ceiling with gypsum board removed and replaced the painted wood paneling and put in wood crown and base molding. The new kitchen has a beautiful quartz countertop and a combination glass/granite strip tile back splash. The new flooring is a wood pattern linoleum. We love this product because it’s 100% bio based and incredibly durable. We installed LED undercounter lighting to maximum efficiency and light color. We chose two different styles of glass pendant lights to compliment the new color. We used our line of Marsh cabinets with all wood construction and soft close drawers and doors. Irina Skalova worked her design magic and took the owners existing furniture and creatively rearranged everything into a comfortable living space which compliments the new kitchen.
