Historic Dearborn Home

This is the master suite of a home once owned by the Henry Ford family. Custom bedding, window treatments and custom painted furniture combine with antiques to make the room into a unique and calming oasis. The new owners wanted to keep the provenance of the home yet make it their own as well. Transitional and traditional furnishings combined with asian artifacts, antiques, an impressive art collection and architectural artifacts from the Detroit area. Everything in this master suite was custom, from the bed linens to the furniture. The bed and nightstands are by Roche Bobois, the dresser is Karges, and the chairs are vintage Baker. This house has been featured on home tours as well as in numerous design publications.
