Hackney Georgian Home

It was a delight to work on this beautiful Grade II listed house in a leafy part of Hackney, East London. We were asked by the clients to add some life to the lovely but rather plain existing interiors. For the living room we used the shape of the bay window as inspiration, using curved and voluminous furniture, which added a playful touch to the room. This was then juxtaposed with the geometric monochrome pattern of the rug which carried through to the hallway wall. The bold high gloss orange door added some much colour and to put a smile on the clients faces every time they leave for work.
