"We were searching for marble for another project and found this crumbling off-cut that happened to be split in a way that almost perfectly mimicked the shape of the coffee table. I took it to be polished and added some little feet on the bottom to protect the table and make it easier to pick up. Although we generally think of stone and marble as a cold element, it added a level of warmth that was really perfect.
