This 1860's log cabin kitchen was completely remodeled. The homeowner chose to install old growth wide plank yellow pine flooring sourced from Abeln Floor Systems. The flooring in these photos started out life as gymnasium bleacher seating and was converted into wide plank flooring at our local mill. Abeln Floor Systems warehouses vast quantities of bleacher boards and other reclaimed flooring which is reinstalled in both historic homes and in new homes alike.
