Fox Hollow #3

This is a 1" thick steel fireplace hearth raised above a slate tile section that is flush with the surrounding oak floor. The fireplace mass is also covered in the same slate tile. The fireplace is a two sided wood burning unit that is raised 18" above the floor of the dining room and living room. It serves to divide the two spaces.
