2. Finalisation of the designOnce the budget is determined, furnish all the designs and interior details, which should be in tandem with the budget of the client. Working drawings should be released for the flooring, false ceiling and furniture and so on, so that the client can finalise the designs before the renovation work starts at site.Make sure that the client sticks to the final design and does not deviate from the original plan.Note: If the client keeps asking for changes once the execution of work has started, it will surely cause delays, with an increase in labour costs and wastage of materials.Get inspiration from these kitchen designs and move on to more categories, all in Houzz photos

29. The glossy surfaces of the contrasting brown and off-white kitchen cabinets reflect a lot of light and give the kitchen a spacious look.

Cons:On the downside, the highly reflective surface of gloss finish tiles easily shows up dirt, fingerprints, footprints and wet spots.Another drawback of gloss-finish floor tiles is that they tend to become slippery when wet. If you have kids (or seniors) around, then opt for matte-finish tiles for better safety.Pro tip: In case you want the best of both gloss and matte finishes, go for a lappato or semi-matte finish for your kitchen. These tiles have a shiny surface but do not have high reflective properties like glazed tiles and are not very slippery.

4. Disinfect the floorDirt spills and particles of leftover food can give rise to germs on the floor. It is advisable to not only clean but disinfect the floor regularly.A combination of 1 cup white vinegar, 1 cup hot water and the juice of a lemon should be used to sanitise the floors and make them shine. The acidic nature of lemon and vinegar makes this solution a natural disinfectant.Hydrogen peroxide is also a very good fungicide and whitening agent for the floor. Add 1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide to 4 litres water and use it to mop the floor.

9. Class actThis space has glamour written all over it – look at the crystal chandelier, the caramel and white tiles with abstract patterns and the glossy finish. The traditionally designed table in rich brown wood used instead of a regular island adds to the classic look of this Pune kitchen.
