Enlightened courtyard

This small courtyard in Clapham was transformed, beginning with our client commissioning an original artwork - a Buddha mural. This became a solid inspiration for the design. The diagonal paving lines make this compact space appear bigger and draw the eye towards the Buddha. The construction is economical with the gravel spaces and makes an interesting pattern.
