Shannon Male - Earthly Images This lean-to was most likely the original back porch of the house as the side walls are cladded with original hardwood boards. At some point it was enclosed to create a room. The flooring was lower than the rest of the house and it was also a dated tile so we lifted the joists and continued the cypress flooring from the kitchen door through the hallway and into the third room pictured here. We kept the cladding wall for some texture and painted it in the same hue but deeper for some depth in this long, narrow room. Behind the camera is the hallway and the bathroom.
