Donner Lake

While maintaining many of the original roof lines in this remodel, we drastically reinvented the use and shape of the areas below the roof line. The keyhole entry into the well protected portico provides a passage between the garage and front door in this lakefront alpine cottage. The green patina on the copper clad windows balances the rustic clean lines and reminds us that the water is literally a stones throw away and invites us into the softer side of life.
