David Morgan Apartment

Full interior design and turnkey styling to an iconic building in the heart of the Welsh Capital for a Qatari client. Di Oro Interiors was commissioned to completely renovate a large apartment overlooking the Hayes, in the heart of Cardiff. Our brief was to design a bright and light space as a pied-a-terre for a young Qatari lady. We set out to reconfigure the layout of the apartment, to uplift the apartment’s existing dark palette whilst maximising the light coming from three beautiful curved sash windows. We created interiors that felt spacious, contemporary and on trend. We chose a palette of whites, soft greys with accents of dusty blues and burnt orange. In one of the bedrooms, our brief was to use warmer greys and pops of colour and we achieved this by creating a sleek atmosphere that feels welcoming yet vibrant.
