Dartmouth Park Georgian Town House Master Bedroom

This was the master bedroom which I decided to keep more traditional than the rest of the house. I wanted a calm feel to the room because it was a bedroom. This is a traditional handprinted Japanese wallpaper by De Gourney in Chelsea, London. The flooring is dark antiqued oak floorboards to contrast against the delicacy of the wallpaper. On the left of the photo I had the wallpaper covered over the door to the ensuite bathroom to create a secret door. Not seen but the curtains were a soft grey linen triple pleated to the ground.
