Some version of this but flipped with cased opening from existing LR to front room. So kitchen is in existing LR w cozy fireplace seating, big island and dining table. Make existing kitchen into pantry w second sink and tons of cabinets/storage. Make room behind existing kitchen a mud room. Maybe also a single door from screened in porch to this room. Island would be turned 90 degrees from what is shown here. Front room would be larger LR w sectional for when we have a crowd. TVs in both rooms. Or even extend screened in porch to in front of existing LR and locate dining area as shown in this pic.
