Classic Modern

A 1980's compartmentalized kitchen gets revamped by removing two walls and combining the kitchen, dining room and family room. The family room was previously a step lower, but was raised to create an even floor between the dining and kitchen spaces. The bay window shown at left, is outfitted with base cabinetry, to provide storage, as well as, serving counter space. The additional cabinetry makes the kitchen feel larger than it's actual footprint and allows for additional countertop space when prepping large meals.
