As a taller individual, this homeowner struggled with the height of her existing countertops—frequently bending over the vanity and causing unnecessary back strain. Keeping the existing footprint of the room, we were presented with a unique challenge of keeping the existing cabinetry, which matched the rest of the home and built-in cabinetry on an adjacent wall. As a solution, we installed an extra thick Quartz countertop in Tropical white (without affecting the cabinets) to give the extra height that our client was looking for, while also creating a beautifully dramatic, and elegant statement.
