Making the most of a small space – that was the goal in designing this kitchen. To maximize storage, cabinetry was taken to the ceiling. Drawers are in abundance, as well as hidden conveniences. A petite island creates much needed work area, as well as storage and seating. A custom piece caps the island, offering wine storage, and a place for cookbooks (when the toddlers are older). The client chose a clean modern door style from Talora, in a warm brown to compliment the new flooring. A light-toned granite was paired with extensive lighting to keep the space bright. Glass doors create a focal point above the sink, and a tall granite backsplash sets off the range. The end result is a kitchen that offers maximum storage and work space in a modern, stylish package.
