Brookdale Kitchen Renovation

The day before the cabinets went in my client called me from vacation telling me that she had seen a steam oven and wanted to put one in, "was there some way we could squeeze it in?", "of course", I responded with a resounding, "Yes, anything is possible!" and then wondered how the heck I was going to halt the installation of what was to be an entirely finished and designed to a "T" bank of pantries which included the new 48" Sub Zero, a Panasonic Convection oven/microwave and the space assigned for the new coffee maker. I eventually convinced the client that they didn't use the microwave enough to warrant keeping it and that they should surrender that space to the new steam oven. Which I might add didn't come with a trim kit so my mill worker fabricated a slick lacquered trim kit in the same materials and finish as the cabinetry. They love their steam oven and don't miss the microwave at all! Below you'll see the space we allocated for the new Jura coffee maker. the client decided that rather than doing the Miele built in unit this would be a better choice. If anything goes wrong with any of these components they can simply be taken directly to the supplier for repair rather than waiting for a Technician to come out to the house. The Espresso Machine, the cup warmer and the milk cooler all sit on a pull out shelf so that the bean hopper and reservoir can be accessed easily. Power is provided at the back of the cabinet. Directly below are drawers which house all the coffee cups, demi tasses, latte glasses etc. David Hendricks
