Bluffview Estates
Before our design updates, this bathroom was yellow, red and blue. The shower ceiling was low and completely closed in, thereby creating a dark, cave-like feeling. The tile was outdated and clunky so the space didn't breathe. This was hardly appropriate for a couple who wanted to capture the elements of a spa retreat in their own home.
In order to accomplish our clients' needs, we transformed the space by introducing a lighter color palette, raising the constricted ceilings and introducing more glass and mirror. This helped open up the space tremendously.
Carrara marble was a no brainer: classic, clean, sculptural. The lovely wallpaper compliments this backdrop and provides a stunning visual of swans swimming amongst lily pads and weeping willows. The light fixtures and lucite knobs finish off the space with a taste of Old Hollywood glam. It's a perfect mix of beauty and serenity.
