Atlanta / Chastain Park Interior

I designed this Living Room for a bachelor who purchased this spectacular, Frank Lloyd Wright style home. It sits on a gorgeous property in the midst of a natural forest. It was important to keep the space minimal by just placing a few selective key pieces of furniture which worked with the architecture of the house. I kept the overall color palette warm and monochromatic with the materials and finishes that I selected, so that the items in the room did not detract from the view. The rug is an abrash, hand knotted rug for an organic and warm feel. I designed the custom made, solid Walnut coffee table which is one of the sculptural focal points in the room. I commissioned the custom encaustic painting with a local artist. Natural accessories such as large pieces of driftwood and petrified wood were brought in to bring the feel of the outdoors in.
