Ark Gardens

Photo by owner and designer Chris Kolb. This is a subdued native plants woodland upper lawn and garden border. Notice the creative edging defines the space and makes the lawn pop. Plants were chosen for being native, having compact growth and shade tolerance. Biodiversity was in mind while also using foliage texture to interest the client. The compact Rhododendron 'Capistrano' is a hybrid native used as a low hedge to border the lawn.
