We used Benjamin Moore's Gentle Cream (OC-96) in this spacious farmhouse kitchen, a great color against the white kitchen cabinets and oak flooring. I suggest that you go to your local paint store and get a sample pot of this shade and one darker and one lighter. Put small samples of EACH of the three colors on three different walls of the room to be painted. See how they look in the different light during the day and evening.

inside lighting, and of course the white. maybe have back kitchen cabinets white but those around sink area a different, darker color. could make back cabinets similar to this, thus expanding storage by eliminating unnecessary doors, etc.
