Pretty focal point!

Q

Photo

simple

Q

Photo

more formal but kinda like the white it really pops!

Q

Photo

Nice and simple! I like the pillars on the arbor for the swing!

Q

Photo

this is a nice small arbor that your swing could go into? could grow pretty vines on it!

Q

Photo

Fits the space perfectly...

Q

Photo

Pergola, planters, benches - perfect. Would love that!

Q

Photo

It works!

Q

Photo

Everything works.....YES I could see something like this or a smaller version in your backyard where the swing is now.

Photo

Lovely!

Q

Photo

Nice, subtle use of a pergola. Wow.

Q

Photo

Beautiful!

Q

Photo

Why is that pot sitting empty? A few pots with colorful flowers and greenery would make this space so much more inviting! AGREED.

Q

Photo

Flowers, flowers, flowers. Yay.

Q

Photo

Sidewalk invites you to the patio - which is surrounded by cool, relaxed landscaping for a lovely summer retreat. YES THIS PATHWAY COULD BE PRETTY CONNECTING YOR DECK TO THE NEW ADDITION.

Q

Photo

Lovely layers. YES LAYERS IN THE FRONT OF YOUR HOUSE WOULD BE NICE.

Q

Photo

Very natural. Love the hostas.

Q

Photo

Pretty courtyard! Excellent use of space and landscaping.

Q

Photo

The landscaping enhances the view of the water. How nice!

Q

Photo

Love how foreground and background compliment. Love hydrangeas- anywhere. Just wish they were evergreen - then they would be the perfect plant. YOU CAN ALWAYS PLANT AN EVERGREEN IN FRONT OF THE HYDRANGEAS TO HIDE THEIR BARE LEGS IN THE WINTER:)

Q

Photo

The house, driveway, fountain & landscaping are all suited for each other....

Q

Photo

Colorful and natural. Might require a lot of maintenance to keep from getting unruly? MAYBE NOT IF YOU PICKED THE RIGHT PLANTS!

Q

Photo

Lavender - love it anywhere it will grow.....HOW DOES IT GROW IN TN? ITS A LOW WATER PLANT OUT HERE ONCE IT IS ESTABLISHED.

Q

Photo

Beautiful, relaxed border. Wish my grass looked like that! I could see this on the sides of your house where you get lots of sun.

Q

Photo

The stone really adds interest/dimension and less ground from which to pull weeds - but of course, weeds would anchor under the rocks and grow anyway! You could always add some big rocks out in the front of your house to add interest.

Q

Photo

Love the architectural details. Oh my. I would have opted for colorful, seasonal container gardens rather than the hydrangea and grasses.... (Gernanium in summer/pansies in winter). Yes and maybe some evergreen shrubs in the background then flowers.

Q

Photo

Neat and clean landscaping along the brick sidewalk. Could it stay just like this - guessing not as plants grow larger, wilt in the summer heat, dry up in the fall.... : ( It could if we picked the right plant for the right conditions

Q

Photo

Would love Dwight to build a garden shed like this to store the lawnmower and garden tools. I would plant spring bulbs and zinnias all around...!

Q

Photo

Love the stone patio, shade and natural, relaxed landscaping.

Q

Photo

Pretty border!

Q

Photo

I like the color and neatness...

Q

Photo

Nice focal point. I would probably fill with flowers.... But ferns are easy... hmmm? Depends on where you put the focal point. Thinking a nice focal point could go in the little area that connects the new and the old house?

Q

Photo

Love the subtle, small & curvy steps. Very inviting.

Q

Photo

Small Fountain I like this a lot and the simple green evergreens in the backdrop.

Q

Photo

Curved Pergola

Q

Photo

Ferns! Ferns would go nicely in front of the new fenced in porch. You don't have too much room to plant there especially if you want to put a little walkway through connecting the side yard? OR HOSTAS COULD GO THERE TOO...IT SEEMS FAIRLY SHADY THERE?
