Reply to: Timothea McAuley I had Karndean Van Gogh installed a month or so ago now, and have a large dog. I haven't seen any scratches or dings yet. But I can say that makes sure you subfloor is PERFECT and spotless. I am seeing telegraphing through the planks where there may be extremely small debris (pebble) and small little "mounds" here or there.

Reply to: We just finished a whole home remodel and put Karndean luxury vinyl plank in the Van Gogh Honey Oak finish everywhere except the bathrooms. It was one of the best decisions we made in the whole process! It looks fabulous, is easy to keep clean, is incredibly durable and the texture feels fine underfoot. We even put it on the stairway. We get lots of compliments on it, and love it so much we're not even going to bother with area rugs. We especially love the color/pattern we chose, since it matches everything. I'm attaching two photos to show you what it looks like. Also, our kitchen is super-nice, and the Karndean fits right in.

Reply to: I have the karndeen select brand of plank flooring and I love it. I had originally thought I would like hardwood but knew that wood and water don't mix well I wanted it throughout the house which is what we have done. It has fooled a lot of people the only thing I don't like about it is that it seems a little on the shiny side. I wasn't aware you could get a matte finish. I think mine was called rustic Hickory. With the floor prep of the subfloor it cost about the same amount as the hardwood would have cost

Reply to: I feel like I've said this a few times in the thread already but Muse is definitely whiter than Minuet. It's not an absolutely massive difference but it's obvious side by side. Minuet is still white but it's more of a creamy /warm white. I am pretty sure Karis and minuet had a similar creamy tone. Muse is not at all busy looking imo.

Reply to: I chose Karis Quartz countertops. We haven't finished the walls (putting up shiplap) but the cabinets are white and the floors are bamboo. Absolutely love my choice!
