This would be my vision of our front yard looking out at the ocean.

I like the use of concrete and wood here - feels substantial - and not like a crappy pool - but still above ground.

I don't think we have the ability to do this - but I like how the home essentially extends out - at the same level and empties into the pool - and then steps down to the yard... that flow feels good for an above ground pool.

I don't love this, but the wood approach almost makes this feel like a big japanese ufuro tub - which is cool.
